Pro Lab's Giclée prints are the highest quality photo prints we offer — produced with Epson UltraChrome Pro archival pigment inks on fine art paper for museum-level colour accuracy and longevity. Ideal for professional photographers, artists, and exhibition printing.

What is a Giclée print?

Giclée (pronounced 'zhee-KLAY') is a fine art printing process that uses high-resolution Epson 12-colour inkjet printing with archival-quality UltraChrome Pro pigment inks on acid-free fine art paper. The result is a print with exceptional colour depth, sharpness, and a lifespan of decades when stored correctly.

Giclée is the gold standard for gallery prints, limited edition fine art, portfolio prints, and large-format photography that needs to look perfect at close viewing distance.

Why the printer matters

Most low-cost print services run eco-solvent or four-to-six colour machines. Our Giclée prints are made on Epson 12-colour inkjet equipment using UltraChrome Pro pigment inks. More ink channels mean a wider colour gamut, smoother tonal gradation in skies and skin tones, and deeper, more neutral blacks — the differences you notice most in fine art and black-and-white work.

Who needs Giclée prints?

💡 For wedding albums and standard photo books, our regular printing is already premium-grade. Giclée is specifically for fine art applications where maximum colour accuracy and archival permanence matter.
